built a life,
as man and woman,
husband and wife.
through years and tears,
along the way.
they shared this life.
they still do today.
but time is cruel,
the body plays tricks.
it gets old and frail,
and very sick.
but love remains and
grows ever strong.
it never asks of time
how short or how long.
