i am an orca, i like to swim,
this life in small enclosures
for me is quite grim.
i need to hunt down
and capture my food,
not have it thrown at me
when you are in the mood.
in these small waters
i frolic and splash,
or your personal amusement,
so that someone can make cash.
i have had enough
and want to be an orca at again,
swim far away from this prison,
i am just waiting for when.
please hear my cries
before someone else dies

About Me
- karen lyons kalmenson
- I am a proud senior, forever hippie, who has incorporated the peace and love vibe into the technosphere of the 21st century. Gratitude and love of all beings is what I live for and how I live. My husband and I are guardians of pteribird in heaven and magic Mikey a special needs senior parrot, whose intelligence and love is beautiful and humbling. Blessings
