one pays for being smart
is seeing things as they are
but smart is not always very wise
as one can go too far
and inadvertently cause pain
to someone close and dear
all one can do is hope that this
did not cause any fear

chance is what happens when you find that smart is not always infallible, never stake your claim on being positive about anything as you will no doubt be wrong and have to deal with the outcome of false certainty. That's when really smart helps you think on your feet and add 4 of the final 5 percent of what you need to be correct.
