 We live in doorways, alleys, parking lots

Alone on the streets 

Life is not sweet 

Or in shelters 

Frightened or lost

This life is not our fault 

Yet we shoulder the cost 

We are of different ages colors

Temperaments 

In homes fed, cared fur and loved

This is how our life should be spent 

So humans what do you think of that

Perhaps you should consider 

Adopting we 🐈‍⬛ cats

Mistreat us

Do not adequately feed us

Please people we are living beings 

With feelings and smarts 

Please be kind and love us
