remember the eden
the treasure trove,
lush, arid, liquid.
mountainous.
remember those
beings that lived
in this eden,
beautiful,
thriving.
keeping the fragile
balance.
so many have left us,
never again to be seen.
relegated to history books.
art work.
dusty photos.
drifting memories away.
what will our children,
their children,
earth mother's children
have left
if we are not the voices
of those who remain.
remember the eden.
it will never come
again.

- the ragged beauty of the indomitable spirit
- the quiet tude
- mist...repost
- i cannot touch you
- how quick the time
- yore lore

About Me
- karen lyons kalmenson
- I am a proud senior, forever hippie, who has incorporated the peace and love vibe into the technosphere of the 21st century. Gratitude and love of all beings is what I live for and how I live. My husband and I are guardians of pteribird in heaven and magic Mikey a special needs senior parrot, whose intelligence and love is beautiful and humbling. Blessings
