the tired upon my eyes,
the aching in my head.
the brain does it hues
and cries,
the body, crying for
a bed.

red leaves and bright berries
she sees red leaves and bright berries,
to dig herself out of the dark.
to make herself merry,
to awaken the quark.
to run from the sparkless
world she does not
comprehend,
an escape from the torment
that does not seem to end.
to hide from the ones
who cannot read her signs,
a safe harbor from sorrows,
created by her
own mind...

raindrops and white petals
raindrops and white petals
fall from the sky,
they live in their moments,
they never ask why.

pompom planet
i wish there was a happy place,
where we could rest in gentle
space,
surrounded by beautiful pinks,
yellows and blues,
softest lavenders,
kind, rainbow hues.
vibrant reds, warm tones
of green,
rusts, browns,sweet
ambers.
my inner eye
has seen.

the power of spring in an urban landscape
between towers of concrete,
reaching so high.
it is the beauty of spring,
that really touches
the sky☺☻

there are
there is a moment when things seem smooth,
heart and mind are in the groove,
the inner peace, although not real,
at least she can pretend
it is something she feels.
then her heart again rails
inside her chest,
beating louder,
putting her to the
test.
she runs in circles
for the silence she seeks.
and for a moment,
that quiet inside her,
peaks.

to the powers that be in japan...do the best that you can
your nation has been through fury
and wrath,
nuclear meltdowns, tsunamis.
too much thrown in your path.
your people suffered, ached,
heartbroken,
they cried.
so many loved ones, missing
and died.
dolphins feel the same sorrows
as you.
they love, they mourn,
it is up to you,
to show them the kindness
that lives in your hearts,
please stop the taiji slaughters
now before it once again,
starts.

once upon
once upon a time, well spent,
i sat, mulling over my accomplishments.
a second past, the list was done.
the pages, empty, as
there were none.
then in reflection, my values
realigned,
and that sense of failure,
uncrossed my mind.

what it is...or is it
what is the reality of what you see.
is what you see a reality.
if another does not see something
as you do,
is one perception false,
the other, true.
or perhaps absolutes
are more grey than the
extremes,
tinged with green,
from our hopes.
disappointments
and dreams.

the terror ism
they walk among us,
death is their master,
they live to destroy,
to maim, to create
disaster,
heartless, mindless
vicious and cruel,
they think they are righteous
but they are the devil's
fools.

the hole
the hole i dug,
some help from you.
a not so gentle shove,
that pushed me through.
regrets that linger,
that fester with time,
as my aching fingers,
pound out this rhyme.
some help from you.
a not so gentle shove,
that pushed me through.

the world is really a scary place
the world is really a scary place,
the little girl sighed, her hands
over her face.
it moves too fast, it gets dark.
it gets loud.
then those silences again,
feeling like a shroud.
those moments when she
stands frozen in fear.
unable to run
crying get me away
from here.
those lulls between the
tangled
knots and twirls,
where she almost feels
like a normal little
girl.

for all of those who choose to kill
to whomever thinks that they can solve problems this way,
the rest of us have something to say.
spilling innocent blood only reflects on you,
nobody cares what you think, just
what you do.
so basically the world shouts
a big f*ck you
snowflowers..for boston
we are the flowers of the snow,
sadly today, we will not grow.
more blood was shed on
earth's precious soil,
the evil one has again
uncoiled.
our hearts are aching
for those who cry.
our hearts are breaking
for those who died.
sadly today, we will not grow.
more blood was shed on

the evil one has again

garage eagles
we build our nests.
we will survive.
we share a world,
hard to stay alive.
with cold steel buildings,
where trees once stood,
our aeries sit,
on concrete,
not wood.
our babies hatch,
with car lullabies.
we want them all
to live,
but some will die.

buds and shadows
buds and shadows,
growth anew.
what lives inside
and outside of you.
worlds, unspoken,
yet silent, not.
trying to get
out from under.
the whys,hows,
wheres
and whats.
growth anew.
what lives inside
and outside of you.

yet silent, not.

what i missed
what i missed was not knowing who
you would be,
but i knew you were a
part of me.
what i missed
was your wonder,
the world that you learned,
living and feeling each
slight toss or turn.
i missed being a shoulder
to lean on, to cry,
when things got
confusing as the world
tumbled by.
what i missed were
your victories,
be they large
or small.
what i missed was the joy
of loving them all.
so the empty walks with me,
though quieter, now.
what i missed was a
never
and would never be now.
i will not miss today
or the search for the light.
i feel when he holds me,
and
tells me
goodnight.
you would be,
but i knew you were a
part of me.
what i missed
was your wonder,
the world that you learned,
living and feeling each

need help from the rain.
those precious waters.
we need to sustain.

we are colors
we are yellow, red and green,
we are here in winter,
although we cannot yet
be seen.
we wait in sweet silence.
ready to appear,
as spring warbles it song
so colorful and clear.

breathe regroup
breathe, regroup.
there is no defeat.
sometimes there is
joy,
in taking the back seat.
watching the world,
with another at the
helm.
able to, at last,
enjoy the
earth and
its realm.
there is no defeat.

rara avis
rara avis,
beauties of the sky,
magic and wonder.
why do you have
to die.
as humans keep going
oblivions surprise,
thinking they are all knowing,
but not seeing before their
eyes.
beauties of the sky,
magic and wonder.
why do you have
to die.
as humans keep going
oblivions surprise,
thinking they are all knowing,
but not seeing before their
eyes.
i think i have to write a poem
i think i have to write a poem,
to bring all these hard feelings,
home.
to sort out what cannot be
organized,
a door that opens, but no there is
prize.
a window drafty, but the wind
died down.
a mindset, not crafty but
still living in town.
a laugh a minute,
but afraid of clowns.
to bring all these hard feelings,
home.
to sort out what cannot be
organized,
a door that opens, but no there is

NO STOP
put away your guns, toys they are not.
living things die, when they are shot.
they also bleed and cry out in pain.
to find pleasure in such horrors,
one must be insane!!!

they also bleed and cry out in pain.
to find pleasure in such horrors,
one must be insane!!!
