to build

to build a shelter, warm and dry.
to soothe a heart, in broken and cry.
to open a door, where there is no portal.
to put laughter in a room where there
is no room for chortle.
to find glee where there is none
to be found.
inside our souls, such gifts
can and do,
abound.

lushness

there is lushness in stark,
if you fill in the
blanks.

madiba

madiba was born
like any other man,
the path he chose,
to take a stand.
to change what
was wrong
while still believing
that there was good.
even after the tortures
and miseries he withstood.
a man who never lost hope
nor let go of his dreams.
with great courage and
tenacity,
he triumphed over the
worst of man's schemes.
madiba the world has lost
its brightest of lights.
on angels wings you now soar,
and the world bids you
good night.

tears like raindrops

tears like raindrops
together they fall.
in random motion,
no need to call.

the fog

the fog rolls in
cannot see sh*t.
still i like the
look of it☺☻
window shopping

the spare and bare

the spare and bare boned beauty
of plant life in winter,
itself bold and cold,
as sharp as a
splinter.

I am a proud senior, forever hippie, who has incorporated the peace and love vibe into the technosphere of the 21st century. Gratitude and love of all beings is what I live for and how I live. My husband and I are guardians of pteribird in heaven and magic Mikey a special needs senior parrot, whose intelligence and love is beautiful and humbling. Blessings
