the rumor, straight malice,
says alice in her palace.
of envy, most born.
so corrosive,
self scorn.

i am

I am but one small human, on an ever morphing landscape. I have seen so much and yet so little. So many technological advances, extraordinary in nature, and so much cruelty, a partnership born from the most evil of places. I know I am of no consequence in the larger order, but the larger order is of great consequence to me.

and when it is time
to turn off the lights,
what will you say,
as you slip into night.
that you enjoyed living,
that each day really mattered.
or with  remorse, regrets and
rueful,
will your moment be scattered.

to take away the sadness, to let anger go.
to show that love, in all of its guises,
a gift from above, filled with precious surprises

i am a dog,

this misery happens

you humans just
do not comprehend,
that we dogs forever

whatever our color,
lack of, or breed.
it is our overwhelming
dogginess
that does the loving
deed.
so please neuter and spay,
and do not throw us
away

days go by,
nights surely pass.
time,
whatever it is.
is all that
lasts

day of thor

day of thor, wield your mighty hammer.
put all abusers of animals and children,
in the slammer.
throw in all those, who abuse
the elderly too.
in jail they will have to find
something else to do.
