🪶this magnificent raptor waits at the feed.
The pigeons and doves avoid my treats and seed.
They want to eat, but not themselves be a meal.
We all can understand how they feel.
As I marvel at this magnificence
I worry for my feathers friends
Who have no defense.
Nature is nature
And has its laws
But I hope my outdoor babies
Stay safe from those big talon claws🪶
