on world elephant's day.
these gentle giants
have so much to say.
they want to be protected
and left to be,
content and safe in their elephant
societies.
so please do not cage them,
or shoot them for their tusks.
we want a dawn for their kind,
not a tragic dusk.
so as we all go about our
busy day,
be thankful for elephants
hip hippest hooray!
