❤️happy Friday❤️ And wear red day! February is national heart month and February 6th is wear red day, to raise awareness of women’s cardiovascular health. On April 9th of 2021, I was hospitalized for a near fatal heart infection. I had open heart surgery on April 16th, when my condition stabilized. I was in the hospital 12 days. While i was ill, our Mikey worked his magic on his papabeaky, who went back and forth from visiting me at hospital and keeping up with Mikey’s fluids at vet and meds at home. They quietly supported each other. When papabeaky brought me home, we had 7 more weeks of antibiotics delivered through a pic on my arm. And numerous home medical visits. Our Mikey kept us sane and smiling. And they both kept me alive. The bonds we form are as deep as life itself and beautiful beyond what words can express. ❤️💚🪶🦜🙏

We miss our magic mikey so much😔 Now would be bedtime meds and scritches time with Papabeaky. Mikey loved his papa and his scritches. The sweet little baby would purr like a kitten. He lived a long life for his species and his infirmities, but as all of us who lost a loved one know, its is always too soon when it is their time. Sweet dreams beautiful and very wonderful friends. There is a little star in heaven twinkling as brightly as the sun.and sending you all many thanks for loving him and comforting his heartborken humans

❤️Mikey’s magic❤️ Mikey had his issues. Many physical and psychological impediments that could hamper his enjoyment of life…he did not let them. He was bold yet very fearful Cheeky Willful Stubborn Bossy Loud but loved human whispers Bitesy and gentle Empathetic Hopelessly addicted to cuddles and scritches Fussiest of eaters and world class food flinger…and biteses on fingers He would argue, if he could, that the world was all about him so he wasn’t a narcissist. Tough hombre as he endured fluids injections 3 times a week for years, and meds administered by we the humans 4 times a day. His will to live and love sustained he, and we his humans, as he succumbed to his terminal illnesses. He taught us how to serve our feathered overlord. He made us better people. Folks say he was lucky to have hired us…we feel being chosen to be his humans was, is and always will be, a great and humbling honor. We were and forever are, a family. That was Mikey’s magic. He healed even as he needs healing. He gave back more than words can express. All we wanted from him was that he would feel loved, and beautiful. Rest on angel wings, beautiful boidie and know you are loved...and beautiful. ❤️🪶💚🙏🌈
