12/29 933 AM EST: He is awake now but very tired and hardly eating. His left foot is swollen, possibly gout. We have vet appointment in a few hours. All we ask is for mikey to see in the new year🙏 For those of you who are not familiar with our magic Mikey and his health issues: He adopted us in September of 2014. he has kidney failure, heart disease, atherosclerosis, and cognitive issues. We have been taking him to dr for fluids 3 times a week for several years and we medicate him 4 times a day. He is terminally ill and very old and it is a miracle he has lived this long with his complex health issues. We have a wonderful medical team are are grateful for every moment he is still with us. ❤️💚🦜🪶🙏 He is our little king👑 and we don’t want our loveboat to suffer
