Of the sun, sky and land
But people do not understand

Nasty and tough
Life here on the savannah
Can be very rough
But we love our families
And we care for them so
We do what we have to do
To watch our babies grow

What goes on

 

What goes on inside an elephant’s head 
Do they look at their world with fear and dread? 
Do they see each day as another chance to live 
Are they short on grudges, and long on forgive? 
Do they revel in their planet and its natural wealth 
Do they understand the importance of their homeland’s health 
Do they go about their lives, day by day 
In quiet reverence, with not much to say 
We can barely understand each other 
Perhaps we can learn from our 
Elephant sisters and brothers 
If we open our hearts and eyes 
We might just be pleasantly surprised

Time to chew, romp

 I look upon the chaos below

This is a world I do not want to know.
Life is simple, loving is what it is all about.
Caring for those in our orbit
Not for screaming and shout.
The hate and screed
I do not understand
Nor will i try
We should all do our best
Before we die.
Heal what is hurting
Fix what is in need of repair.
Humans you can do better,
If you dare!

To argue and fight 

Just makes no sense 

So in this little space

We eat and play 

Humans if you share

The wolf spirit is like a beautiful song 
One can feel it forever, it is never too long 
The wolf spirit is like the freedom of clouds 
Hovering ever so gently, with head held so proud 
The wolf spirit dances in sunshine and rain 
In all four of our seasons, without any disdain 
The wolf spirit lives in the mountains up high 
Its grandeur is endless, it can touch the sky 
The wolf spirit belongs to all who live on earth 

It will live forever, no one can measure its worth
