i can see you
you take my picture
i do what pigeons do.
i have a pigeon
story to tell
and i hope you do so
perhaps well.
a choppy life
is ours on the wing
searching for shelter
food and friends
pigeon things.
we stay together as
a flock
to resolve,
problems that alone
we could never solve.
some people like us
most consider us pest
pigeons being pigeons
and doing our best.
