oh still the world
the heartbeats
broken,
defeated.
the endless
tears.
we seek solace
in those pockets
of kindness
hoping to fill
them with love
and surround
the ailing orb
that struggles to
sustain.
as we too soldier on
through the sorrow
and pain.
