i live my life
i do not need
your scrutiny
... there are plenty of
reasons for my mutiny
i have dreams
not as yet fulfilled
as i spent too many
years choking on
life's bitter pill
so as the clock and
the sands collide
i will do what it takes
to enjoy the ride
