i clasp my hands in silent prayer
for all the living, everywhere
that peace will come, no more blood
to be shed
that all animals will be safe
...no more species dead
i bow my head in prayer for those long gone
whose memories we cherish
and smile upon
for those we miss or never knew
by god's angels kissed,
in peace, renewed ♥
