dawn

the creator looked over his paradise,
from tropical forests, to fields of ice.
he studied the oceans, the deserts so dry,
the natural fountains, the mountains up high.
he looked at the profusion of creatures small and grand,
then gave them sweet sunshine, to light up the land.
