at times we sit here so surprised
at the challenges we face
and those to which we rise.
we keep on going, not discouraged.
so we keep on growing,
inside our courage.
we live each day
as though it were our last,
doing everything we can
to forget the past..
to forge a future
bright and clear,
what better reason
do we live here?
