one man’s lie may be another man’s truth
or a sad goodbye, to a painful sore tooth
we put so much credence into veracity
clinging so hard,with mendacious tenacity
knowing full well that the little white lie
can prevent a hurt, or cause someone to cry
we hold our truths to be self evident
it all depends on what is really meant
