if animals ruled how would it be this question often comes to me

dogs would want peace to  leave things alone

just give them some food, a lap and a bone

cats would want playtime  to romp and to stalk

we would have to be careful to watch where we walk

birds would be busy, smart and alert

keeping us in a tizzy, never inert

but would there be war

no not anymore
